Start Here for Your Bundle

Please read this entire page. At the end of the page, you’ll see links to get your personal copies of both trackers in the bundle.

Activate Automation (for both trackers)

Follow these steps for each sheet in your bundle: the 2026 Finance Tracker & the Stress-Free Family Gift Tracker.

1. After reading this full page, you’ll click the “Get my Template” buttons below. Each button will open a spreadsheet for you & you’ll see a blue button that says “Use template” in the top corner of the spreadsheet. Click that button. This will make a usable copy in your Google Drive for each tracker. See note below for mobile users.
2. Open each template on a computer. For the first run, you’ll need to use a desktop or laptop browser. Mobile browsers cannot activate the automation.
3. Click the Receipts/Gift Receipts menu. At the top of each sheet, you’ll see a menu called Receipts or Gift Receipts (to the right of the “Help” menu). Click it, then choose Enable Receipt Automation.
4. Allow permissions. Google will ask you to authorize the script. Click Advanced, then Go to Gift Receipts/2026 Receipts (unsafe), and finally Allow. This is normal—your data remains private.
5. Done! The activation tab will disappear in each sheet. From now on you can add receipt photos from any device via the Google Sheets app, and the automation will run every few minutes.

Troubleshooting & Support

If a sheet opens in view-only mode or without the Receipts/Gift Receipts menu, make sure you followed Step 1 above (open on a desktop). The mobile app won’t show custom menus.
